:h Just sand and sea...could be just about any ocean beach, couldn't it? Unless, of course, Pismo has more than it's share of idiots. :D
Looks like Pismo.
I would just about rule out WA, though, because the sun is shining. :(
That's funny! - Shadow_GreyExplorerLock it in...cause we're gonna go for it.

I guess the tide came in sooner that they thought... - skipncharExplorerHummm...how anyone could id the location from nothing but some sand and some surf is beyond me. I could think of a couple of dozen places it could be. Camping on the beach is great fun if you don't mind really dirty windows and sand in your carpets. Usually don't get quite that close to the tide line though but I'm guessing the guy got stuck and the tide caught him before he got out.
- TOOBOLDExplorerLet me clarify, at Pismo Beach you can camp on the beach itself but the path to the camping area can be affected by the tide. Many people including campers will drive into the water with their campers usually toy haulers into the water. If you search on youtube you'll find lots of video's like this.
Yes, Pismo has more than it's fare share of idiots. This is the only beach I can think of in California where you can drive down to the beach itself. It is a popular offroading area. - rthibodauxExplorerIs this real?
- ch-taExploreroops.
