Can anyone recondmend a good Redwood dealer?

We did much research and bought a Redwood as our 3rd 5th wheel, and probably our 10th RV. It was very competively priced to a replacement Montana for us. It sits on the same exact 12" Lippert frame and has the exact same Lippert owned leveling system as most out there, including Big Sky and Cedar Creek and Heartland. Contrary to the naysayers, it is put together much better than our prior brands, and offers more than most as standard equipment and optional equipment.

Two or three on here are constant Redwood bashers, but I'll be a Redwood cheerleader.

I did stop in Rapid City to see their Redwoods and was not impressed with the Dealer - They had a gravel lot and old Redwoods in inventory. There are better dealers out there.

My wife is 4ft 10in tall. Another thing she mentioned, the model we were interested in we couldn't reach the corner of the counter top. It would be a big waste of space.

If you don't mind, what is your wife's height? My wife's height is short too and we didn't even think about that when we checked out Lifestyle recently.

The Lifestyle product would be more like the Carriage than a 5er made by Thor.

Call Tiara RV in Elkhart, IN, they carry Redwood, DRV and Lifestyle, great people to work with. Check out Excel also, great quality.
Take as many factory tours as possible and see how they are built.

While at Lazy Days in FL, I happened to be on the lot while a salesperson was showing someone the 6 point leveling system that many rigs have today. During the leveling process, the front jack right stopped while the others continued the process. The noise - creaking and cracking - and the amount of frame flex we saw was unreal. The system shut down and then the sales guy could not close the door.
Frame failure? Maybe not. But the reason 6 jacks are used instead of 4 is because the frame requires it.
Redwood is built no better than most the other THOR rigs. The interiors may be nicer and the exteriors have a great paint job. Then thy slap a huge price premium on them. Anyone who would my more then mid $60's is getting ripped.
If you have your heart set on a Redwood, by all means buy it. BUT don't pay the ridiculous prices common for one. Here is a link to an example of pricing. Good luck, Phillip

Since you are going fulltime check out Explore USA in Dallas...gave us a great trade in on our Bighorn and 26% off our ordered Landmark. The PDI was excellent...we have had no issues since we left that we couldn't handle.

They also sell Redwood and DRV, which allows for side by side comparison. We had a great purchasing experience and we would use them again if this wasn't our last RV...

I have often heard people say the Redwood frame isn't strong enough but can anyone show me where someone has had a frame failure on a REDWOOD?
Other then that they seem to have the same problem as any other brand.

Look at Lifestyle. Top quality and is the true replacement for Carriage.
