Lippert 4400 lb. axles come with 10" hubs and a bigger axle tube (3" from memory) and 4400 lb. springs. If the OP's Alko axles came with 12x2" hubs I wouldn't bother with the upgraade. Increasing the spring rate from 4400 to 5200 will tend to shake the trailer more shaking things apart. I upgraded from 4400 Lippert with 10" hubs to 5200 lb. axles with 12x2" hubs to get more braking. Later I down graded the springs to 4400 lb. to reduce shaking, and increased the linings to 7,000 lb. dexter linings to get even more braking.
