I was trying to build in a comfort zone into my head, just a little...not to re-stamp some GVAW number on a sticker...I'm not looking to overload either but just as many have said.. the builders don't give much cushion as to their weight ratings. At least I have a number to shoot for from the original trailer. Now, I have learned a great deal of knowledge and with that I can steer myself in the right direction because you all helped... I said this many times in my posts and I will say it here...There is no such thing as a dumb question...only stupid mistakes from not asking dumb questions. Our goal actually is to keep it as light as we can and I got some good ideas comming...I kind of cringe when I see these trendy tiny builders using full on 2x4 construction... and those little tow behind trailers are rated for 20 thousand pounds right??..LOL!!
