Can you fit 3 mtc's in a hauler?

I'm debating between upgrading my fifth wheel bunk to a toy hauler or motor home with trailer.

Going to Sturgis in 2014 and want to take 3 bikes. 2 dressers and a Honda Rebel. Can I even fit 3 bikes in a 10' to 12' garage?
  • You should be able to on a 12ft...put the Honda in last facing the rear if it won't clear facing forward. 10ft garage might be kinda tight as a dresser takes up right at 8ft.
  • We carry 3 bikes in a 11 ft. x 8 ft. toyhauler garage.

1 sport bike crossways in front. It does not take up the whole 8ft across space.

    and

2 - 60in. wheelbase 8 ft long standard/tall/adventure style bikes with hard pannier boxes and top trunks stuck out the back, and crash bars - side by each fore and aft. There isn't much room between these bikes -

We didn't see how 3 could fit fore and aft when we did test arrangement on the ground prior to loading.
  • Got a tape measure? Just draw out the size and see if you can park the three in that space.

    Excelent idea....
  • Yes. I have had 4 bikes in a 12 foot. 2 Harley dressers with a KTM 500 between them and a KLR650 sideways in the back. It takes some clever tying down and you have to climb over everything to do it. The Rebel may be a little wide to fit between the dressers so you would need a 12 foot garage and put the Rebel sideways in the back. Good luck!
