- mike-uswestExplorer IIII used to work on a Jersey Dairy. I didn't use gloves then, and you wouldn't believe what I was exposed to. This is a piece of cake. Just use common sense and good hand washing after.
Mike - RollnhomeExplorerI don't wear gloves when dumping. I do however wear disposable gloves when pumping fuel....that diesel is nasty stuff.
- korbeExplorerNothing here, although interesting, will change how I deal with the dump station.
- tragusa3ExplorerI wear disposable gloves when convenient (when my wife hands them to me). Any other time, I'm okay doing it without. I'm more concerned with my shoes than my hands. I can wash my hands.
- Houston_RemodelExplorerDuchman, thanks for adding to the list.
I also touch my dogs, other people's dogs, other people's children. Lord only knows where they have been, or been licking. (both the pets and the children)
We do not let any dogs or other people's children lick our faces. - camper19709ExplorerI am a glove wearer but not using gloves is ok as long as you wash your hands afterward. I even wash my hands or use hand sanitizer afterwards. Maybe a little over the top but we all have our "routines". :)
- Crazy_RayExplorerI'm a NO GLOVES man also.
- kalynzooExplorerGlove? nah

A number of you gave me a big laugh....thanks I needed that.
I have exam type gloves that I use once and throw out....turn inside out as someone noted.
Again thanks for your humor!
X2 - tomman58ExplorerBeen to many dump stations over the years and watched the bottom of the Darwin ladder many times. Common sense and good general hygiene trumps stupid every time.
Yeah, I wear gloves and rinse with an antibacterial every time. Yeah, made it through high school and passed biology and health, of course that was 50 years ago and I am sure bacteria have changed, not.
