Can't believe folks connecting up sewer without gloves

While I am not a total pig....I am of the mind that people need to build up immunity to disease, germs, bacteria etc......I know people that are anal about cleanliness...wash, wash, wash...scrub, scrub, scrub.....They are also the people that get sick all the time. They take pills for every ailment, slight headache or whatever....
I can honestly say, that I have rarely taken an aspirin, hardly ever get a headache.....rarely get sick. I figure I have a pretty good immune system

All that said....I rise my sewer hose off pretty good with the campground dump station hose then put it away...I do have some rubber gloves handy if I remember to put them on.

I used to work on a Jersey Dairy. I didn't use gloves then, and you wouldn't believe what I was exposed to. This is a piece of cake. Just use common sense and good hand washing after.

I don't wear gloves when dumping. I do however wear disposable gloves when pumping fuel....that diesel is nasty stuff.

Nothing here, although interesting, will change how I deal with the dump station.

I wear disposable gloves when convenient (when my wife hands them to me). Any other time, I'm okay doing it without. I'm more concerned with my shoes than my hands. I can wash my hands.

I also touch my dogs, other people's dogs, other people's children. Lord only knows where they have been, or been licking. (both the pets and the children)

We do not let any dogs or other people's children lick our faces.

I am a glove wearer but not using gloves is ok as long as you wash your hands afterward. I even wash my hands or use hand sanitizer afterwards. Maybe a little over the top but we all have our "routines". :)
