Some good advice and don't feel bad. When we bought our Winnebago the fill was so different then our others it took me a while to get used to it too.
Few things to know.
- Once you fill the tank you should remove the hose and use the cap to seal the inlet. Change the dial from Fill Tank to City water as well.
- If hear the pump but are not getting any water you might have an open valve that is not allowing the tank to pressurize. This could be the valve for the winterizing system, or the drain lines for the tank are open still.
