Couple of thoughts.
1. Overnight -you don't open and close the trailer regularly like once you are up and moving in the morning or during the day.
2. Where is the exhaust pointing on the generator? Bed sides could be funneling and or trapping the exhaust right under the trailer.
3. Check battery voltage next time alarm goes off -low batteries will trigger alarm. Maybe using more amphours than converter is replacing to batteries during high demand times.
4. Check and make sure furnace and water heater are properly sealed to sidewall or that furnace exhaust is not obstructed.
5. Try running the generator out of the truck bed and a little distance away. This helps isolates the problem.
6. Prevailing wind -remember that wind direction changes will affect how the exhaust cloud forms or doesn't form.
