I've had my Carlisles for over 3 years now and put thousands of miles on them. So far, no problems at all for me. I cover them when home, I keep them aired up to 80 psi (Max on the tire), and watch the "skidding" when making sharp turns or back-ups. I avoid as much as possible. I've not hit any curbs since I've had these, and inspect them before each trip. I still tow at 60 mph or slower, and only very seldom EVER get over 60. So far, the tread is even and flat, no dry rot evidences, and still going strong!
I had Carlisles on my previous camper for 4 years and sold them with the camper. They were still good.
But, things happen. Maybe as the above poster said, you picked up a nail and it blew the tire.
