Hey there are a lot of very expensive 5er's out there that one would think the manufacturer would put "higher quality" tires on, but...WRONG....go look on the RV lots...
Big difference in a 14-20,000# 5er and a Ranger boat....unless that boat and trailer are 40' long and have a GVW of above weights.
Ranger, like anyone else is going to make as much money off their boats as they can, and I'd be willing to bet they buy their tires in volume...take a bid on cheap tires and Carlisle wins out...I wouldn't worry though because again, I really don't believe we're talking as much weight as a heavy 5er that would require a G rated tire at 110 psi.
