carlisle tires

Anyone running the new Carlisle Radial trailer tire ? Discount Tire seems to be pushing them here as new and greatly improved. Anyone know of a 15 in LT tire?

:B They do EXTREMELY well on such equipment, as well as light duty trailers, such as boat trailers, and there really don't seem to be a lot of issues with trailers at 10,000# and under, but, Carlisle doesn't have a good reputation on heavy to heavier trailers...again, just do the search...

To the OP, do the research and use the weight rating on your axles to pick a tire that will cover that weight...

  • I ran them on my bass boat with no problems and I towed it a lot further than my TT
  • yes, I have had them almost A year now; so far so good. I moved up from D rating to E and run 80 lbs. with right at 4000 miles they they are wearing perfect.

Search "Carlisle" here or any other RV forum, as well as E-opinions.

    You will have your answer.

BTW - Discount Tire has been "pushing" Carlisle for years, kinda like assisting pushing your trailer off a cliff..:(

Maybe they *ARE* "new and greatly improved"..:@
However, I would want someone else to be the 'test case' for that claim.
