I had Carlisles on my 2004 TT. Had 2 blow outs in first 3000 miles and switched to Maxxis ST's and had no further troubles.
I too have heard that new Carlisles are redesigned the past 3 years and supposedly solved the old issues. Not sure if I'd be willing to try and see just yet. If you cannot afford Michelin's or Bridgestone R250 LT's then perhaps the Maxxis ST's will work. They're highly rated for many years as about the only ST tire RV'ers recommend. I just don't think the new Carlisles have been out long enough for RV'ers here to have a good yes/no answer.
Note that some major tire stores do not stock Maxxis but can order them. Discount/Americas tire stores can usually get them in 1 day.
