For anyone else that has this happen make sure that when the lugs are replaced you KEEP the old parts so you can send some of them to the manufactures for analysis. If possible do not let the repairman just drive them out with a punch as that will obliterate any distinguishing marks that may point to the initial failure (torque, hardness, bending).
Save a couple for your lawyer's expert witness if necessary.
