We used to have one cat that went with us. He ended up riding in the Scab with run of it. He would carry on for a time then relax. At the campground, he was a happy cat.
We had a small litter box in the truck for emergencies. We purposely looked for a 5th that would keep a litter box out of site. Put in an access door and removed a shelf for a covered box.
Unfortunately he passed away this winter.
We now have a Great Pyrenees that travels with us.
We use a hammock in the truck. Vehicle hammock
And a soft dog crate in the 5th (at night and when we are gone). Soft foldable crate
She travels well.
