54 gallon to big or too small? Kinda leave the OP hanging there.
We love our creek but just like any trailer you buy it is still going to have all the usual RV components as any other. frig, stove, furnace, nuke box, fans, outlets, light switches, vents, furnature, lights, ect..... are all coming from the same factories in China. Set your goal on a trailer that feels like the structure was built nicely, and a floor plan that fits your style. Next step is to just buy it and enjoy.
We looked at new trailers last year. We stopped at the Heartland dealer and started walking around. The Big Horn was very nice and just felt good. The Big Country was pretty much the same way but seems like it was a little better value. When we got the the Elkridger we were shocked at how cheap it felt, and how poorly it was put together. Every one of them had these strange white blotches on the ceiling. It took us a while to figure out that it was touch up paint (that didnt match) because all the nailt or staples had rusted on all these brand new trailers.
