An update:
We placed an order for the Grand Design Solitude 369RL. We looked at lots of different trailers, but focused on Cedar Creek, Grand Design Solitude and the Open Range Roamer & 3X series.
I feel the Cedar Creek is/was probably the best built of the three with the Solitude coming in a close second.
CC Pros:
-Build Quality, Rear Cap, Full Body Paint, Quieter AC, Full Electric Fridge/Inverter
CC Neg:
-Taller Height, More Dated Interior vs the Solitude, Chinese Tires Only Option
Solitude Pros:
-Overall Interior Design/Materials, Customer Service, 101" vs 96" width, Lower Height (should be under 13'), Closer Dealer
Solitude Neg:
-No rear cap, No full body paint, No residential (all electric) fridge, smaller fresh tank.
OR Pros:
-Lighter Weight, More Standard Features, Exterior Design
OR Neg:
-Cable Slides, Frame Issues (even lots of 2014 models reporting frame issues)
In the end, the biggest factor in our decision was that my wife really liked the Solitude the best. I felt it was a good quality rig as well, so that's what we went with. If I was deciding, I probably would have gone with the OR Roamer 347RES and saved some money...
