Changing outdoor speakers

Very carefully take a very thin knife or single edge razor blade and carefully work it behind the speaker. That will cut the silicone adhesive they use to seal the cutout from the weather.

Music doesn't bother me as much as dogs smaller than most cats yipping all day long

on my trailer there was a silver sealing type tape covering the hole and stuck to the back of the speaker

My outside speakers are sealed very well to the lower metal section (skirting). I would be afraid of taking the paint off with the speakers, if I tried to replace them. I don't think I'd replace them if they quit working, since I rarely use them.

I would rather listen to a neighbors music (within reason), than to listen to a close, game playing group, such as the one with the huge washers, banging on the plywood.

Not intending to offend anyone, just an example.

Well put. I also have outdoor speakers and keep at a level I can enjoy but not loud enough for everyone else to hear. Some of the comments above are uncalled for and reminds me of some old man on a poarch sitting in his rocking chair yelling at all the kids playing or walking by his house. just plain grumpy old men!

Love It! This was my exact thought as I was reading! I need to replace my outside speakers as well, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I was surprised when I began to see rvs with outside entertainment. I know it is nice, but just not good with neighbors. I believe in respect for others.

Why, just yesterday evening in a FL panhandle campground we were treated to a 'gentleman' sharing via his outdoor entertainment unit his choice of 'Dancing With Idiots', or whatever it's called, at tremendous volume. Most people simply went inside and closed their doors and windows. Just before we did the same thing we got to witness someone going over to politely ask him to turn the volume down a bit. He was told to 'f-off'. We were packing up to 'f-off' the following day anyway so we just took it as another example of the rude, boorish behavior that you encounter every now and then.
