Changing the vinyl insert along the roof any tips ?

Hi all need to change the vinyl inch weather strip along the top 40ft each side, any tips or tricks 1. can I pull it through attached to the old one ? 2.heard a plastic knife to help it in and dro...

Agree with above, pinch it in as you go. It is near impossible to pull a 40' length, and you don't want to stretch the plastic, causing it to shrink over time.

Lay the plastic insert on the roof, full length, using a weight to hold it there.
