I have a 2013 Ford F250 6.7 diesel. I average around 11 mpg while towing our 5th wheel. I have calculated it over thousands of miles. Sometimes see as high as 13 & as low as 8 or 9 if driving into strong headwinds. I think any of the late model diesels will give you a realistic 11 mpg average towing a 5th wheel.
