Coachmen Brookstone

Never seen a Coachman. Maybe a Coachmen?

In that price range they are pretty much all the same in Quality and they all look nice inside and out ,if you like the Layout and get a good deal and buy from a good dealer Jump on it and get a Extended Warranty and call it good...and Enjoy!!

We like our Brookstone. Not a lot of people on line with them. That could be good, as most people get online to complain about their rigs.

Based on what I saw during a visit to the manufacturer, what I have read online, and my own experience, I would say the quality is about the same as those in the same price range. Some are perfect, others total lemons, and most fall within the middle somewhere. Ours fell within the middle.

Being close to the manufacturer made it easier to take it to them to fix issues under warranty. Treat them nice and they will treat you well. I think way too many people go in angry. Don't get angry until they won't fix a problem. We never had to get angry.

They have changed a bit since ours was made. No rear cap I see. We purchased because the layout was good for us (with a cat), the engineering was better than many units (good use of space), and the look was what my wife wanted.

Looked at a new Brookstone at the Coachmen annual rally. The storage basement was huge! I mean, you would have to crawl in and get stuff out huge. That's too big. Too unwielding to use. Ours was about the biggest at the time of purchase, and was well designed (no pipes waiting to be damaged).

I would not buy a trailer in this price range (any manufacturer) that was not on the lot. I would want a LOT of time to go through any of them and test them to ensure there are no issues, or they are fixed before buying.

Note, mine came with junk tires. Heavy trailers. Nose heavy trailers. My loaded pin weight is around 3340 lbs. Try to get a free upgrade in the deal.

We parked next to someone with a new 36' or so Brookstone a couple winters ago. They were very disgusted with the quality.

Staples thru waterlines, water damage, trim falling off and many more things.

I have parked next to folks with Mobile Suites ,Excels, Redwoods etc.. that were PO'd about all the stuff that has gone wrong with theirs as well So it's a******shoot sometimes no mater what brand you buy also I parked next to a Beautiful Brookstone 3 weeks ago in Oregon and he loved his ....so like I said if YOU like it Buy it....and Winged One you got that right ALL these mid Luxury rigs put ST E rated tires on them Get rid of them!! they are not the right tool for the job for the heavier rigs

Me and my wife also want to look at the brookstone, there is a dealer nearby with a large indoor showroom, which here in fla. Is a blessing, we just looked at a palamino columbus last monday and that looked nice. From what I have learned most forest river models are all the same more or less. And I agree with what winged one said . Some are made great some are made poorly and some are average..
