I think that the confusion is about draining. The water tank is not affected by draining the low water drains. It has its own drain which is not opened in this case. The low water drains are located under the bottom of the trailer. They are two lines, one blue,cold and one red,hot. Only the water lines are affected by these drains.
Well I my rig opening the low point will drain the hot water tank, it will take a bit if no hot water faucet is open. If he is referring to the fresh water tank and turned on the heater that is a different story.
