Sorry to hear you had a bad experience...I also had a leather recliner that was defective, and it was replaced with no problem...Your problem might be with the store where you bought your recliner...Just like there are RV dealers that are better than others, I am sure that holds true for furniture stores also...Agree to disagree...:B
