We did not compromise on the features that we wanted in our trailer, but we did compromise on where we could go. Our needs were very specific and with our Voltage 3905, we met them all and are very happy with our choice. BUT this is a 42ft. trailer, and that has its own set of compromises. As the others have said, it severely limits our choice of campgrounds, and I would venture to say that if you want to stay above 32ft. yourself, it will limit yours as well. It also made it mandatory that we purchase a newer truck, which we were hoping that we would not have to do.
That being said, we are still happy to have it, because it will do exactly what we want to do. We chose to give up our choice of small campsites for the ability to sleep two families in comfort, and to haul around our motorcycles and bicycles where we wanted to go.
For us, there is no perfect solution. We had to prioritize our needs and we made our choice based on what we wanted most. (as I am sure that a lot of people have done)
