In our family "compromise" is a must!
We wanted a TH - I wanted a 5'er DH did not want to give up the bed of his truck.
I searched high and low for a tow behind TH with a separate garage - with a "nice interior"....found a Rubicon 2900 - not perfect but works for our type of camping and we still go to many state parks in New York and PA. Only draw back is can't get to the bathroom while the slide is in - but if we stop for a quick overnight - we can get to it thru the rear door (not the garage door). We have been camping 45+ years and never had a trailer with a slide - neither of us wanted one but it seems that is about all you can find now a day ~ so we both compromised on that!
