We have a 38ft 5th wheel. The room is great. I't like a small apartment. When we are stuck inside for days due to bad weather it's nice to have the extra room... No cabin fever.
We find that is it is easier to find an RV park/resort outside of a NP or SP to stay in. We have full hook ups plus all the amenities a private park offers. We drive into the SP or NP to see the sights.
That being said.... I do remember having a lot more fun in our 10foot camper or our 24ft TT20 plus years ago. We were younger then so our activity level was higher. Now that we are older it's more important to make sure our recliners don't get lonely.
