I did the same thing went from a 5th wheel to a TT and hated the entire experience even though I used a Pullrite TT hitch which works wonderfully it is still much more work to hitch up when compared to a fifth wheel not to mention the huge loss of storage going to a TT.
I went back to a fifth wheel and will never go back to TT.

Had several TTs - never a 5th.
After first 5th, would never go back.
However - *if* I needed the additional storage gained by swapping back to a TT - it (a TT) wouldn't be a consideration.
Be time for a MH - and tow whatever toy/s behind that.
OP - do whatever *YOU* would like to do - that fits *YOUR* lifestyle!..:C
