It took a couple of emails and 3 phone calls to get the answers I wanted. I was getting frustrated but did finally get someone that was very helpful.
I'm told Jayco is still using the 300:1 motors in the model we're looking at. I was hoping they were using the 500:1. Same motor with greater gear reduction. We love the layout but just don't feel comfortable with the Schwintek slides yet. Reading about many complaints of failures. Maybe not a high failure rate as a percentage of units sold. Who knows?
We decided to wait until we speak to a few more owners we meet in our travels.
