Looking at giving up the TC for TH for the sand. Problem:Towing with a GMC 4500 4x4. Stock box height is 69". Replacing the box for flat bed is a no go wife says. So looking at triple axle 30-32' ...

I would look into putting the TC on a flatbed trailer with extra length for toys or just pickup an enclosed trailer to pull behind and leave the TC on the truck. For that budget you can find a nicely outfitted trailer with utilities and TH features like the fold out couches, tables etc.. Use the TC for sleeping and the trailer to haul the toys and hang out in throughout the day.
