You didn't mention that you were stretching a Class 7, to make it an 8. Kinda the inverse of the projects I normally see on something that heavy.
What's the brakes on that one?
Does it have a multi stage engine brake?
What engine is in it?
ON EDIT' Never mind. I missed the transition on Page 11. This is a project that stands to be a real plus as a PULLER. Not sure other than the 'show', how/why you need the second axle though. That is a Most capable beast. lots of torque, plenty of brakes, etc. Sleeper is an excellent addition for use as a weekender (for a couple), not so much for the clan I'm afraid.
Good stuff. If I had false teeth, I'd have had to put them back when I enlarged the pic of the 'new' data plate. Ya got me!:B
By the way. Did you get the Blue Boy's driveline squared away? I probably missed that post.
