I have gone where most will no go. I am in the process of adding a 2nd drive axle. I am doing the work myself. As you can tell from the pics. I have came a long ways. I just have the bed work to finish the project. I will be extending the bed & dully fenders to have a full bed. Let me know what you think.The reason I am doing this is to handle the toy hauler better on the road.

To each, their own. :) The truck is definitely quite a beast. :BWith the tripple trailer axles, especially with them positioned so far forward on the trailer as yours are, with all or most of the garage area behind the trailer axles, I can't imagine the pin weight of the trailer being too much for a single dually axle to handle.How are you intending to connect the driveshaft between the 2 rear axles?

Iam planing on useing a NV-200 transfur case to tie it all to geather. That is another phase of the project. I just wanted to get the truck done as it is my only truck I got to tow hauler with. The angle that the U joint is at in the 3rd pix is probably given you the noise. Don't you want that more in line?

More pics:

I drove it today. No vibrations. But a couple small bugs to work out. One is the back rear dosent seem to have enough weight on it. And it wants to spin the tires on pavement real easy. And second is Iam getting a noice out of driveline in between letting off of fuel & coasting. This is alot of work. I have had my moments when I could just kick myself, And say y?

Fuel prices are supposed to drop around July 4th.Wait till then to fill that tank.Use Shell diesel when you fill it (and call me as you start to fill it),then I can watch my stock dividend go up.:B
