Have you done anymore work on the Old Fire Truck?
It is done. Just going threw the process of getting it registered as RV. That way plates will be $82 & anyone with regular licence can drive it. - SecuritiExplorer

Wow... that rig will cost you $36.00 in toll just to cross the bridge around here. ($6.00 per axle).
I have already noticed the increase this year when I took RV out. - BigToeExplorerWow... that rig will cost you $36.00 in toll just to cross the bridge around here. ($6.00 per axle).

How much travel can the front axle have before it gets into the driveshaft of the back axle?
Not much if u r talking about the space between top shaft and top of ft axle.
How do you plan to deal with that when towing?
It seems that contact could occur when pulling in uneven areas, especially with weight on the rear end.
It Isent a problem rt now. But I do think I am going to redo that design. Maybe relocate the carrier bearing back farther. - jbc28Explorer

And I found that the frunt driveshaft was butted tight against the gearvender. Must of happened during the ajustment of gearbox. That took most of vibration out. I think it is going to work this time. I just have to work out the kinks now.

This time I did it myself. Therefore I think I have a Balance problem. When I am sure this is going to work. Then I will take it to a driveline shop to get driveshafts done.
