I have gone where most will no go. I am in the process of adding a 2nd drive axle. I am doing the work myself. As you can tell from the pics. I have came a long ways. I just have the bed work to finish the project. I will be extending the bed & dully fenders to have a full bed. Let me know what you think.The reason I am doing this is to handle the toy hauler better on the road.

To each, their own. :) The truck is definitely quite a beast. :BWith the tripple trailer axles, especially with them positioned so far forward on the trailer as yours are, with all or most of the garage area behind the trailer axles, I can't imagine the pin weight of the trailer being too much for a single dually axle to handle.How are you intending to connect the driveshaft between the 2 rear axles?

Iam planing on useing a NV-200 transfur case to tie it all to geather. That is another phase of the project. I just wanted to get the truck done as it is my only truck I got to tow hauler with. It Isent a problem rt now. But I do think I am going to redo that design. Maybe relocate the carrier bearing back farther.

I worked on it today. And I found that the frunt driveshaft was butted tight against the gearvender. Must of happened during the ajustment of gearbox.That took most of vibration out. I think it is going to work this time. I just have to work out the kinks now.

The last time I tryed to put this to geather. I spent $350 on getting drive shafts cut. This time I did it myself. Therefore I think I have a Balance problem. When I am sure this is going to work. Then I will take it to a driveline shop to get driveshafts done.
