- jackmccormickExplorerI called tire dealer and got the information, but was told NOT to use max pressure.
- BB_TXNomadYou can go to the Goodyear web site and see their tire loading inflation chart, recommended tire pressure vs weight on the tire. But as noted, you need to weigh each axle, and preferably each tire, to see just what the correct pressure should be. Max pressure will ride harder. And will cause more wear in the center of the tread if it is too much pressure for the weight. But is a safe bet without knowing weight.
Goodyear tire pressure charts - mcthompsExplorerAgree with 2oldman. Max as stated on tire.
- fj12ryderExplorer IIITriple axle or double? Is that 16,000 lbs. minus the pin weight or 16,000 lbs. including pin weight which would put about 13,000 lbs. on the axles.
I'm running "G" rated Sailun tires and 12,000 lbs. on a triple axle toyhauler and run around 95-100 psi. - HelmseyExplorerTo know the correct pressure you need to know the weights on the axle(s).
If you don't know the weights you can be safe by running the max pressure listed on the tire. - 2oldmanExplorer IImax as stated on tire
