- buc1980ExplorerHold on your money and save to install the Mor/ryde IS.If you really need(want) a smooth ride.
- ACZLExplorerOur Big Country came w/ the 3000's and was considering bumping up to the 4000's. Current ride, have no problem w/ coach, just wanted to go to the 4000's. However, on the HL forum, a owner had the 4000's and the rubber gave way inside the alum housing (in other words the rubber got pushed downwards thru the alum). After seeing that, gave me 2nd thoughts about switching. Just a thought/sayin'.

Our rig also came with the shock mounts but with the axles flipped no body has been able to get me a shock that fits. Not Jayco or LCI, Monroe won't give me a clue either.
Post some pictures and some measurements maybe someone on here can help.
I had a 2008 Eagle 291rlts it had mounts and no shocks. I put dexter shocks on it. But it was stock.
I have exactly 11 inchs between the mounting holes. The LCI black ones are too short & the yellow ones too long. Jayco & LCI both says the yellow ( which I purchased ) is the shock but that would require putting the spring in the 1st Hole From the ground & I don't need any more top clearance as it's 13ft 2 in now
I think for noe upgrade to the 4000 & see how it rides - RollandBExplorerI did the change last summer. Already had shocks on ours, since they were OEM shocks changed them to Monroe Gas Magnums.
I continue to see a significant improvement in the ride especially going over bridge joints. I credit this mostly to the SRE4000. Only downside is the 5er is about 3/4” taller at the high point. - 2naEagleExplorer

Did you do both 4000 & Joyrider at same time ?
I did the joyrider's first. I could tell that things stayed in place a little better in the trailer (like the microwave plate). I put the 4000's on because I wanted to and had to much time on my hands at the time.:B
I am very happy with them. It mostly just depends on how many miles you pull. Anything you do has to be better than stock.
All of these upgrades and a air ride hitch makes for a very pleasant ride. - sayoungExplorerI didn't realize how much difference between my 3000's that came on our 5er and the 4000. Our rig also came with the shock mounts but with the axles flipped no body has been able to get me a shock that fits. Not Jayco or LCI, Monroe won't give me a clue either.
Did you do both 4000 & Joyrider at same time ? - 2naEagleExplorerI did both and very satisfied.
Heavy duty shackles and wet bolts also
