No answer yet. I also saw the product highlight, which made me ask the question. I plan to call a local dealer tomorrow. They have a good reputation and he is 6'5" so should be sensitive to why my 6'4" DH must have a standard queen.
I've been (over) researching a new camper since last starting to look last February. We want to stay under 35' and under 12K GVWR. Also must be able to get to the fridge to pack/unpack on the street without slides out.
The current short list includes the Montana High Country 318RE, which we have looked at several times. Also the Grand Design Reflection 303RLS which we have not seen but looks about perfect (except for 15" wheels, which can be changed). The Crusader 290 or the longer 333MKS _might_ be on the list, but also we have not looked at them. We didn't like the feel of the Jayco, Wildcat, or Cruiser. The only Laredo has small gray tanks and would not be a move up from our Laredo. All the Heartland products are too long or too heavy. Something about the Open Range just didn't feel right.
We took a short trip a couple of weeks ago and went to an RV show and a dealer. That eliminated several models. We are planning a trip sometime in October, and hope to be able to find a Reflection within a couple hundred miles of home (Va Beach) to look at. Actually hope to look at a Reflection up near DC, and also visit the Air & Space Museum at Dulles, then head south along the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Didn't take any time to look when we spent a week in Central NY this summer, were busy visiting family. Where in Upstate do you live?
