Curious about mounting exterior levels

We put some cheapster stick on levels on the outside of our fiver just for a quick reference.
They seem to move around on high temp days.

The DW put a small bubble level in the fridge that seems to show a pretty good average, however goes without saying not real convenient.

So now that I'm more willing to drill holes in the coach.
I was wondering what y'all recommend for better side to side accuracy?
*High dollar
*Low dollar
*No dollar

Apologies for dredging up an old subject.

Are you saying temperature makes the level itself move around on the tape, or it actually changes the level reading?

The stick-on one on the side sort of gets mushy when the sun warms it up.
I can wiggle it around...doesn't move when it's cold.

Used to use a magnetic bullet level on the old fiver under the front.
This one has plastic\fiberglass\aluminum covers on everything so no exposed steel for my bullet.

I have the large king pin level that I can see as spotting for side to side leveling. then a smaller stick on for front to rear leveling.

Just curious as I had a stick on above the cabinet near the landing gear switch that worked great for years until I sold the unit. I also had the large bubble level on the front pin box that could be read from the mirror. Loved that one, as it gave me immediate notice if the site was level left to right or if I had to drag out the pads to put under the tires.
