Curt X5 with Reese hitch or B&W Companion?
I just purchased a Sprinter 324FWBHS. We will be picking it up next Saturday and I need to get the hitch.
I have a 03 Ram 2500 long bed with a B&W turnover gooseneck already installed. I can get a Curt X5 for $350 or the B&W Companion for $880. I already have an older Reese 15k 5th wheel hitch that I can use in the Curt X5.
Would I be better off to spend the extra and get the B&W or will the Curt work just as well? Not worried about in bed weight/removal, as I can just use the loader from my tractor to pick it out.
Are there any other hitches that fit in the B&W that would be less expensive? Or does anyone know of a great deal on the Companion?
