Agreed. This is not a totally new concept. This already exists. Why on earth would they need a patent for something when it already exists? They said this is something that has never been seen before, which is just not true. It's definitely not what I was expecting after all the talk I've seen about it.
Doesn't Open Range have a floor plan or two with a similar side deck that has been out for a few years? - mibojeExplorer

Wow talk about "much ado about nothing" on the Heartland website the Manager said legal had worries that delayed this project. I'm thinking this is a band aid watered down version of the original idea, whatever that was.

Legal worries...over the newly unveiled TH? Not sure what is new and requiring a patent on this one....just disappointed! - stsmarkExplorerWow talk about "much ado about nothing" on the Heartland website the Manager said legal had worries that delayed this project. Was this the model that was kept secret for the past year or more that was going to revolutionize the industry? Waiting for all the patents and designs to get approved and worked out? For a deck that is on the side of a trailer? Silly.

Went to that link and for an actual corporate web site, that is one of the worst photo compilations I have seen.
Heartland does have some pictures up HERE but I am afraid to see what that monster will weigh. May require a MDT to pull that 'revolution' in TH RV.
I am accessing on my smartphone and I agree...terrible pics. - bkirkpatrickExplorer

Yep, that's it. Also I forgot about the square footage they were saying it was going to be. It was more than what it actually is now and that's including deck area to get that number.
