Should you decide to remove, there are several ways to do it. I find the 3M decal removal Wheel is the best. Cost is about $40, but it removes the decal and glue very quickly. Then use Meguires #49 Oxidation Remover, #50 Boat/RV Polich and it should remove the difference where the decal was.
