I had the same problem with my goldwing. What I did was put 2 6x6s under the rubber stoppers of the rear gate. I bought a tri fold aluminum ramp and extended the ramp. Works for me. PS I also use a strap to hold the ramp to the gate so it don't kick out, just a little more safer. Good luck.
