If I was going to buy a slider again, it would be the auto's . The manuals are a pain to use. You will most likely find that although you do have a slider, it does not come into play often ,if at all.
I would get the Demco long before the B&W , just for the fact mentioned, its a manual slider.
Of course with the Auto, it doesn't matter what situation you are in ,they just do their thing. ALMOST no worries making contact with the truck, there is always that chance.
Some may pop up and mention Andersen, its worth looking into. I will leave it at that.
