You are comparing two totally different hitches. The Demco is auto slide, and there is nothing to do to engage the slide feature. It is quite heavy, and I use a chain hoist in the fall and spring to lift it in and out of the truck bed. B&W slider is a manual slider. You have to get out, engage the slide mechanism. The problem is that you don't know you need to slide until it is almost too late.
If you are set on a slider hitch, get the Demco, or Pull right auto slides. If you dont need a slider, then get the B&W standard hitch. My next truck will be a long bed, and a B&W will go in then, and the Demco will be history.
