demco vs drawrite sliding hitch

between demco and drawrite sliding hitches , which is the better one?
moving from a class c and i just bought a 5th wheeler which empty is 9700 lbs and max wt is 11200 and plan to pull with a chevy 1500 crew cab short bed and max towing package and also wonder if this setup is ok or light for what i have to pull . and everything needed is alot of recearch and there got to be pro's and cons of both.

as i only plan to pull a couple of times a year and most of it will be highway driving from se pa. to florida or the del beaches. but maybe a run to upstate pa or n.y. could happen.

  • Don't know which is better but I have been using the same Draw - Tite 16K manual slider since 2002 with no problems. 5er's towed had GVWR's of 10K and 12K.

Not up on the latest 1500's but that seems like a lot of weight for a half ton.
  • Here's a third option.

IMHO best automatic slider on the market.

This is a 12K made for 1/2 T short bed pickups.
    It slides back 24".

There have been some used ones out there at good prices.

I'm to far away to sell you this one.
