Yes you have that correct. Eternabond has its place but not in that edge cap trim seal area. If you have issues there you will pretty much destroy the roof membrane trying to remove the Eternabond. A periodic inspection of the sealing on your roof and use dicor self leveling sealant is much much better. You do hat you want
