Digital Media Players > TV Video Entertainment

An Android phone is all you need, that and a special HDMI cable from Amazon. Upload content from Dish TV like we do and watch it in your hauler while camping, use whatever flat screen tv you have.

I bought a 32" 12v LED TV from Best buy and cut the cord off the power supply and put a 12v plug on it. I plug it in the outlet behind the tv

Then I bought this outstanding little media player on ebay for twenty bucks and change. It came with a 5v power adapter that I cut the cord off and soldered to a usb plug and now I power it off the usb port on the TV and works perfect. It plays every single movie file I have tried and has usb and sd card input slots and hdmi and composite video/audio out

It kind of is. I think some people misunderstood, Digital. And assumed Netflix or the such. Which isnt the case. Hell I dont even really want a TV in the trailer, but the lady thinks it would be a decent idea for unfavorable weather, Which I could agree to. We had terrible winds and random rain last year in Ocotillo Wells @ Terra Del Sol, we watched movies in a friends RV instead of drinking around the fire, which is what I prefer.

But I am only meaning my digital copies of the movies I own, not online streaming. When I buy a new bluray, I always purchase the "package", the copy that comes with BluRay-DVD-Digital Copy. I put the Digital Copy on a portable hard drive to save room on the PC at home.

Also have this for at-home setup. Works Great! Haven't upgraded the Trailer TV to HDMI yet, but want to put a second player in the Trailer and just take the HD when needed.

We just bring our DTV DVR box, everything is recorded in there, simple HDMI connection is all thats needed.

I think Chromecast only require HDMI connection. The usb part is for power only, and you can use a usb charger if the tv port doesn't have an USB port.
