The truth is - Go to Camping World website and look at antenna choices. Pay very careful attention to SD/HD fine print for each dish. Dish people, me for example, are very happy - same goes for Direct. If you want HD, then I think Dish has the advantage with an easier and cheaper dish. If you want SD, then I believe Direct has the advantage, same reason.
Don't pay any attention to the eastern vs. western arc Dish sats. If you truly understand what Dish is doing, it is a huge plus as it gives you more options around trees as to the direction of aim. And you can get all stations off either the eastern or western arcs.
