The DW and I have been full timers for 5 years and RV'ing for 5 years before that. We always use that "thingy" that comes with the RV. It has this knob in the RV that you have to manually turn. There are two things we like about it -
1. We haven't had to pay anything to use it yet!
2. Sometimes there is no reception at all! That's when we read a book, talk, or go out side. To turn on HD while outside we have a glass of wine. I hope this helps.
