When paying top dollar for quality, one expects quality and should get quality. New RVs should be inspected and 100% ready to go, not a fixer upper from the start. Yes, occasionally something could get missed, but that should be the exception, not the standard.
FWIW Grand Design is coming out with a new line up of smaller TT's the end of July or 1st of August. I own a Northwood product and will not be going back to them. GD may not be the same caliber but the customer service notches ahead.
