Grand Design does offer a better product than most. Its just that demand has been overwhelming, and they have had to open additional facilities in an attempt to keep up with demand.
That usually causes quality to go down a bit as the new assembly lines are using mostly new employees with a few seasoned employees to train them. With the planned new models, Grand Design is expanding at a breakneck pace.
That is why purchasing from a dealer that goes out of their way to make it right is just as important as the brand you bought. Once the kinks are worked out, you will more than likely be happy with the unit you chose.
