"You do realize there are very professional, skilled and certified mobile RV techs? I'd much rather have a skilled, experienced mobile RV tech work on my trailer than any dealership service center."
I agree completely and I've had the mobile guys do work on my rig several times - but always on what I would consider to be RV/trailer systems.
How many RV Mobile Mechanics have removed trailer drum brake systems and then added a complete new disc brake replacement system ? How many have done it more then once ? I'm sure they do all kinds of work on air conditioners, fridges, water heaters, leaky roofs, etc.
One of Ron's Performance Trailer Braking techs did the complete R&R on my Bighorn in about 6 hours. It was very apparent that he knew what he was doing ! Not to mention all the little tidbits I picked up regarding how long the pads would last, how the Ford actuation system differs from others, etc.
